The TRANSFORMATOR program brought together 17 organizations to support them with a combined turnover of over 10 million euros, aiding their transition to sustainable business models.
The fifth edition of TRANSFORMATOR, supported by *Fundația Coca-Cola* and *Raiffeisen Bank România*, unites 17 organizations from both business and non-governmental sectors involved in fields such as education, food production, creative industries, artisanal production, textiles, social inclusion, and culture. The program supports NGOs and businesses with a combined revenue of over 10 million euros in their shift toward more sustainable business models.
The first Bootcamp of the autumn edition took place between September 27 and 29, providing participants with practical sessions focused on legislative regulations, sustainability reporting, and organizational culture. They also engaged in exercises to develop a sustainable business model using the Sustainable Transformation Canvas, a tool created by Solutions. The program is part of *Social Innovation Solutions (SIS)* ecosystem, which integrates the three essential components of a successful organization: people, planet, and profit.
“Through the TRANSFORMATOR program, we provide leaders with not only knowledge and tools to integrate sustainability into their organizations but also the opportunity to be part of a strong regional community. At the end of this year, Romania will host participants from Bulgaria, Serbia, and Croatia, strengthening bonds and the exchange of best practices among organizations. Additionally, this year, we are financially supporting the implementation of sustainability measures developed within the program, helping organizations make concrete steps toward a more responsible future,” said Roxana Cojocaru, Executive Director of *Social Innovation Solutions*.
Organizations with a Sustainable Business Model
The organizations that joined the program aim to develop a sustainable business model, align with future trends and sustainability regulations, or make strategic decisions for long-term growth.
“The experience at the Transformator Bootcamp was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about sustainability. The networking aspect of this event proved to be one of the most valuable aspects—meeting in a smaller setting allowed us to discuss ideas on how we can make the world better through our businesses,” says Corina Hodorogea, founder of the online store *Legume Verzi*.
